Product Reviews
In this section, you will find Para Bellum’s unbiased reviews of the components, tools, and gear that we’ve tried. We purchase all components, unless noted explicitly (e.g. if we are sent a product to review; not that this changes the way we review a product).
For each component type, you will find a dedicated summary page, with links to each of the products that we have reviewed. If you have been to other parts of our site, you know that we have our picks for each product, depending on the build or context. You will see our PB Picks clearly indicated.

Components
Your gun is composed of dozens of components. Some are a dime a dozen. Others vary significantly in design, quality, function, and feel.
As you begin to design your build, we want you to be informed so that you can build the best gun for your money.
Tools
Some tools are good. Some are great. Some are absolute dog sh!t. We’ve spent a lot of money over the years to figure out what works and what doesn’t.
Gear
A gun is a warrior’s primary means of defense and offense. But it is not the only thing he or she needs. From every day carry (EDC) to battle kit, we have our opinions about what you should have, and which products fit the bill.
