Platform Components
The platform is the heart of a weapon system. Selection of a platform can mean be the limiting reagent in the potential of a gun. As such, choosing the right platform is paramount in your AR build.
Upper Receiver Components
The upper receiver sees a lot of action and stress. It is also where selections will have the greatest impact on weapon performance (accuracy, reliability, etc.).
Lower Receiver Components
The lower receiver is where most of your interface with a weapon system lies. From controls (safety, trigger, mag release, bolt release) to furniture (grip, buttstock), the feel of your gun will be mostly influenced by your lower.
