Objective: In Step L1 of lower receiver assembly, we will install the lower receiver into a vice block and vice.

Tools Required

1: A magazine well vice block is great for holding the lower while you install most of the small components. The Geissele and VISM lower receiver vice blocks that we recommend will also work, though they may be a bit restrictive.

Instructions:

Step L1.1: Attach Vice Block to Lower Receiver

NOTE: If you are using the Geissele or VISM lower receiver vice block, you will need to temporarily install the receiver extension. Thread a few threads of the receiver extension into the lower receiver.
