The phrase comes from the Roman writer Publius Flavius Vegetius Renatus, who argued that peace is preserved not by weakness, but by preparedness.
We believe the same principle applies today.
A free society depends on citizens who are capable, responsible, and prepared to defend their liberties. From our perspective, the strongest deterrent against tyranny and violence is a well-armed, well-trained, and well-informed population.
That philosophy is the foundation of Para Bellum.
