Our Partner Brands and Affiliates
Types of Vendor Relationships
There are three types of relationships that we consider with other companies.
Sponsorship: Essentially, this is where one company pays an individual or company promote their products (either verbally or via displayed logos). At the moment, we are neither seeking nor accepting sponsorship. This is because we want to remain as unbiased as possible. If and when the time comes, we will only accept sponsorship from brands that we trust and use, exclusively.
Dealership: We have established as many dealer relationships with our component manufacturers as possible so that we can ensure a diverse and reliable supply of component options to our customers. We seek dealer relationships with components that we have determined to be the best options for our firearms and our customers. We DO NOT put components in our firearms because we can get a dealer relationship…if our firearms don’t like a product, we don’t like that product and won’t offer that product.
Affiliate: We understand that not everyone will purchase one of our firearm assemblies or build kits. We are ok with that. Our vision is not for PBA to dominate the marketplace, but a well-armed populus and our mission is to put as many high-quality firearms in the hands of the populus as possible. The DIY-er is technically a competitor of PBA. But the DIY-er is also a strategic partner in our mission and vision. In fact, we love our DIY community so much that we do everything we can to encourage and support it.
We want you to benefit from our experience and knowledge. So, when we find a specific component, tool, or course to recommend, we try to establish a relationship with a supplier. We may receive a small commission from transactions made through our affiliate links. We try to work with suppliers who provide the best service and most competitive pricing. Buying through our affiliate links DOES NOT COST YOU ANYTHING. In fact, we can often secure coupons and discounts for you with our affiliated partners. Using our affiliate links DOES help to support the work that we do. So, if you appreciate what we do, please consider using the links that we provide and support our partners.
Dealership
Para Bellum is an authorized dealer for the following brands:
- Aero Precision
- Ballistic Advantage
- Battle Arms Development
- Criterion Barrels
- Cryptic Coatings
- ERGO Grips
- Geissele Automatics
- HIPERFIRE
- JP Enterprises
- KAK Industry
- Luth-AR
- Odin Works
- Precision Armament
- Radian Weapons
- Superlative Arms
- Timney Triggers
- VG6 Precision
- They are the brands that we have been using in our personal guns for years (some for 15+ years).
- We feel that they offer the best combination of value, quality, and performance. This allows us to build the best gun for each person’s needs and budget.
- They have demonstrated their ability to supply customer demand. There are a couple of other awesome brands that we would love to work with, but their inability to keep up with customer demand impairs our ability to keep up with our customer demand, which does not make for a good customer experience. Until they figure out how to scale their business, we can’t feature them in our guns.
We know that there are plenty of other great brands out there, and we likely have access to them via our distributors. If you want something, we can probably get it.
Affiliate
We are partnered as an affiliate with the following retailers:
- Amazon.com
- Brownells.com
- OpticsPlanet.com
We have elected to work with these retailers because between them, they offer nearly everything that we recommend.
