PBA Specifications
We are a bit obsessive when it comes to Quality.
We looked to the Good Measurement Practices, the Colt Technical Data Package (TDP), and SOTAR specifications when developing our metrology and Quality Control program.
Below, we humbly offer the specifications that we use for measuring and gauging our components and assemblies. We have tried to express why we measure something (WHY), how we measure it (HOW), the specification we turned to (SPEC), the value of that specification (VAL), and any notes explaining our specification.
Note that SOTAR field specifications are intended to identify the end of life of a component; not to verify that a component is necessarily in specification as manufactured. Some of the SOTAR field specifications exceed the TDP max specifications for this reason. We always use the tighter specification, whether SOTAR or TDP.
